Bennett Wedding

Weddings in May are often risky in western Washington if you’re hoping for good weather but, thankfully, Peter and Elisabeth got really lucky this year. The forecast was looking iffy all week, but by Saturday, expected showers turned into harmless cloud cover.

They had both the ceremony and the reception at Resurrection Church in Tacoma, WA and it‘s an uncommonly gorgeous building. First erected in 1907, it has all of the quirks and charm that you might expect from such an old venue. The ceilings were rather impressive but it was the stained-glass windows that really inspired our imaginations. During a short lull in the festivities, we were able to capture some beautiful images in one of the upper rooms – images that will surely be cherished for years to come.

Between the our-story-so-far video that kicked off the ceremony to the surprise flash mob that danced to Uptown Funk during the reception, their wedding was full of little touches that made it memorable.

Good luck and God speed, newlyweds! We wish you all the best.
