Hill Wedding

We really enjoy seeing how couples share their lives and love stories with their friends and families. Steve and Maggie’s wedding was a perfect example of this – every part of the day was “just so them” in the words of one wedding guest.

Every detail showed how thoughtful and fun this couple really is. Because it was December, Maggie knitted her bridesmaids some beautiful shawls to help keep them warm and the ladies looked fantastic all bundled up. The ceremony at Quest Church also involved some very personal touches, including Steve and Maggie honoring their mothers by having them be witnesses to the signing of the marriage certificate.

Probably the most characteristic part of the day was the reception, which was held at one of their favorite pubs, Mulleady’s. The space didn’t favor a traditional banquet hall arrangement, so Steve and Maggie brought their favorite board games to set on the tables for their guests to play. We saw families doing Mad Libs together, old friends playing Ticket to Ride, and we even got drawn into an impromptu game of Catchphrase in the food line with some of their friends from church. “Hamilton”-inspired toasts and cheers rounded out an evening that surely created some amazing memories for this couple to start off their new life together.

Congratulations, Steve and Maggie!
