2016 Year in Review
We took a lot of pictures in 2016 – perhaps more than ever. We had a great time capturing memories with our cameras, from baptisms to weddings to foggy family hikes.
One of the biggest highlights was participating in a year-long photography challenge. We had a new task each week and it encouraged us to stay creative during the winter months when we typically photograph fewer weddings. We experimented with macro photography, various lighting setups, and interpreted artistic challenges like “blue” and “sparkle”. We found that a weekly challenge was far less daunting than a daily assignment and we think this is a great way for people to improve their photography skills.
We also took plenty of pictures of our son and it has been fun to look back and see how much he has grown in just 12 short months. His personality was well-formed since the very beginning and it has been amazing to watch him grow more into himself every day.
Thanks for joining us on this wild ride and we hope you’ll stick with us for 2017. It’s sure to be another great year and we look forward to sharing it with you!
